Anna — Klos

Anna Kłos was born in Warsaw. She finished her diploma in poster and graduated with honors in 1999 under professor Julian Pałka and professor Mieczysław Wasilewski. In 2007 she got her phD degree at Art Faculty of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
She designs posters, collages and books. For many years she has cooperated with the publishing conglomerate Bertelsmann Media, for which she did a number of projects for book series, as well as hundreds of book covers and layouts. She took part in many art contests and group exhibitions. In 2000 she took part in the International Poster Biennale and in 2005 in the 46th edition of Polish Book Publisher Society’s contest for the Most Beautiful Book of the Year her projects were awarded and nominated for the prize. Since 2008 she has been teaching graphic design and the history of graphic design at Warsaw School of Information Technology in Warsaw. Since 2010 she has acted as proxy of the dean at the Graphic Design faculty, she is also a member of the Senate of the University and of the Faculty Council for the term 2013-2017.
