Isabel — Crowley
Isabel M. Crowley, current president of JUCONI and former UNICEF representative in Mexico, has over 33 years of professional experience working in the field of human rights both within the United Nations system and with international non-governmental organizations in Africa, Asia, Europe and now in Latin America. For decades, Crowley has worked on the design and implementation of dozens of public policy programs for community development, the implementation of basic urban services, has contributed to funding child protection and development programs on five continents, and has Launched innovative programs in education, health, emergencies, access to drinking water and water. Prior to becoming UNICEF's Representative in Mexico, Crowley has been active in advocacy for children's rights in a dozen countries, including Nepal, South Sudan, New York, Geneva and Liberia. Isabel Crowley has Portuguese and Irish nationality and lived most of her childhood in Africa.
